Description
Sharply faceted amethyst crystals cover the face of this cluster in deep, dark violet, their glossy faces reflecting light across the surface. Two amber-orange crystals break the purple: a smaller one near the left edge and a larger, elongated crystal on the right, both in warm orange and honey tones. The dark amethyst and the amber crystals make a strong two-color contrast. Natural color, nothing dyed. From Ametista do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
