Description
The open center of this rounded formation is lined with violet amethyst crystals, from pale lilac at the rim to deep purple toward the cavity. A white crystal stands at the center, its pale form set against the surrounding color like a lantern in a dark room. The rim is smooth and rounded, in lilac and white, with small amber-brown marks along some crystal edges. A green-gray rind is visible on the back. Natural color, nothing dyed. From Ametista do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
