Description
Carved from pink amethyst, quartz and agate, this skull has a polished, translucent body that shifts from white to soft lilac. Its main feature is the open cavity on one side, lined with fine pink-lilac amethyst crystals, with a white quartz crystal at the upper edge. Banded agate marks the crown, and one eye socket carries a reddish-brown tone. Carved teeth and nasal contours give the face real definition. Natural color throughout, nothing dyed. Pink amethyst is the only amethyst in this piece. The material comes from Ametista do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
